We are delighted to welcome all our parents and students to the new academic year 2025–26. The past year has been a journey filled with innovation, new experiences, and countless opportunities for learning and growth. As we begin this new academic year, we are keen to share with you several key initiatives and updates that reflect our continuous commitment to holistic education.
Key Highlights for the Academic Year 2025–26:
- Fostering Learning Discipline
At Sandepani, we believe in elevating learning goes beyond class rooms, to that of a continuous practice in life. This year therefore, we are placing a strong emphasis on creating an ethos of conceptual learning and practice among students across all domains. - Youngpreneurs – An Entrepreneurship Initiative
We are proud to introduce “Youngpreneurs – An Entrepreneurship Initiative”, a unique and forward-thinking program that builds upon the success of the student-led soap-making enterprise launched in 2024. That initiative served as a powerful experiment in hands-on learning and entrepreneurial spirit. Encouraged by its impact, we are now launching Youngpreneurs as a formal non-academic subject that blends both theory and practice. This year, students will develop and market at least half a dozen new products at Sandepani, applying their academic learning and essential life skills to real-world entrepreneurial projects. With dedicated mentorship and structured guidance, the program aims to empower students to transform ideas into viable business ventures. Ultimately, Youngpreneurs envisions the establishment of a vibrant student market in Trivandrum city—setting a benchmark for other schools and inspiring students to carve out their own space in the world of entrepreneurship. - Technology Education – Robotics and Coding Classes
Regular Robotics and Coding classes will be launch from June 4, 2025. These classes will aim to train students to develop critical problem solving skills using technology and the creative application of technological tools to stay in the tech driven world. - Counselling & Well-being
To nurture the mental health of students we will be conducting regular counseling sessions – Individual and Group – to support students emotionally behaviorally and academically - Peer Assessment & Reducing Screen Time
We will be undertaking a unique Study based Strategy to help students regulate unnecessary screen time exposure through self-reflective and peer to peer support and responsibility building approaches. This initiative is named “Children Assessing Children” and will include a range of research based tools and approaches. - Sandepani Knowledge and Innovation Centre
Sandepani knowledge and innovation center builds upon the activity plan that was implemented until March 2025. The center partners with WHI to administer innovative project through the student clubs of Sandepani School to foster early stage research and knowledge development orientation in children. - Educational Field Trips
This year Sandepani aims for a wide broadening of Educational field trips to helps students connect the concepts of their knowledge fields with its application in society, institutions and its creative practices in the industry. - Sports and Chess
Sports activities are being widened to institutionalize best practices and experiments from previous years like combat sports and chess that enable overall development in children. Following the success of the 3rd term of the 2024-25 academic years, Chess will be introduced as a period designated subject to sharpen cognitive and logical reasoning abilities of the children. - Art Projects
The art program of Sandepani School will build upon the games of the previous year and will work to create a dedicated art space for the children of Sandepani School. The aim for 2025 is to improve the skills across a wider range of artistic approaches and take up inspiring student led projects that will be gallery ready by 2026.
